Heyoo, it’s me again. This time with another update: the second manuscript is finished! Completely edited, revised, and expanded. If a publisher was like “Send it to us” I wouldn’t have a problem with it going out like it is. So that’s fun.

I miiiight go over the first one, one more time. Like a complete dum-dum, I wrote 7 entire manuscripts with the protagonist named one thing, then decided to change his name to something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. So a good chunk of the editing I have to do is changing his name. That’s not AS fun.

But I also wanted to go over it now that the second one is finished and read those two back-to-back. These 2 are somewhat separate from the rest of the series, because they’re mostly context for the protagonist. I say mostly because I also do ALL of my world-building in the first 2 books.

The real story of the series starts in the third book, which is kind of a weird setup, but he’s not your typical story character, and I felt like you would need to get used to him before you can enjoy the story. So now you have 2 books to get to know everything about him you need to know before shit gets real.

I’ve started reading over the third one, with some ideas brewing already. Nothing big, just parts here and there that need to be smoothed out. The word count is almost half of what I usually aim for, so there’s a TON of wiggle room. But that’s neither here nor there.
