So let me tell you a little something about me. I’m a newcomer on the scene of indie authors, I am currently working on my very first manuscript, and especially with the intention of getting it published. I’m not a professional, but I’ve been a hobbyist writer for most of my life.

I started with poetry, then in my rebellious teens I wrote song lyrics and guitar music, during the most chaotic parts of my teens I started writing screenplays. They were full-length feature-film scripts, but I was a teenager and like I said, things were getting chaotic at that point so I never sold any, or shopped any around. They were mostly ways for me to get things out in constructive ways.

For a long time, I would start different projects here and there, only to be insulted away from it from someone who shouldn’t have done that, but that’s neither here nor there. The point is I was kind of prevented from writing a whole lot, or anything meaningful, for a long time.

And then I started writing ransomware code, viruses, and I even had my own cryptocurrency code for a little while. Fun little things I did to pass the time during otherwise boring shifts. But now I’m trying my hand once again at writing novels. I want to take readers on adventures that are deeply character-driven and emotionally charged (in good ways).

According to some people I asked, I’m a speculative fiction author. I’m working on a series, but I think I’m going to start with some smaller, more contained types of stories. So I guess we’ll figure that out when we get there.
